“When connected with Reiki in a conscious way, an individual has the possibility of healing, awakening, and enlivening through this practice.”
Before setting up and running De Tout Coeur Limousin I worked in therapeutic group care with residents who had emotional and behavioural needs. During this time I supported my work with both my MA studies in Group and Intercultural Psychotherapy, and working towards my reiki master-teacher qualification, which I obtained in 2010.
I have been trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and and can trace my initiation lineage as a master to the spiritual lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. Usui Shiki Ryoho can be translated as "the Usui System of Natural Healing."
During a reiki treatment I ask for the recovery and the healing of the recipient on all levels. It is not for me to diagnose or decide what is 'best' for you. Reiki will always go where it is most needed.
“A Reiki treatment supports the whole person — physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. When a Reiki practitioner places his/her hands on an area of their own or another person's clothed body, Reiki flows through the practitioner into the person receiving the treatment. This flow may be felt as any type of sensation—heat, cold, vibration, tingling, unusual heaviness, or sometimes as no sensation at all.”
Although physically a very gentle treatment, the effects of reiki healing can be profound. We can experience reiki as being nurtured, and a feeling of being 'held' in a safe place. If we are at a cross roads in our lives, or need support with our healing and recovery reiki can help us to clear a path so we can see our next steps more clearly.
“The Reiki energy comes through the practitioner, but is not the practitioner, and is given to you, the Reiki recipient. The Reiki practitioner is the facilitator of your healing. None but you can heal yourself. This task can not be ‘delegated’.”
As a reiki master practitioner I facilitate your holistic self healing by providing the space and time for us to work together with the universal energy. It is in this dynamic interaction that we can be affected by, and benefit from reiki. Healing is a process, and a responsibility that cannot be given to someone else.
“...healing the spirit by consciously deciding to improve oneself is a necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for her or his healing and take an active part in it. Therefore, the Usui system of Reiki is more than the use of the Reiki energy. It must also include an active commitment to improve oneself in order for it to be a complete system.”
I look forward to sharing reiki with you, and welcoming you to De Tout Coeur Limousin soon. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information and to book your reiki treatment, training workshop or retreat.
