Join us for a Usui reiki retreat at De Tout Coeur Limousin to nurture your wellbeing and self care. During our reiki retreats you can complete either your Usui level 1, level 2 or Master-Teacher training, share reiki healing, guided meditations and experience the beauty and tranquility of the Limousin countryside.
“When connected with Reiki in a conscious way, an individual has the possibility of healing, awakening, and enlivening through this practice.”
About Usui Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique for relaxation and stress relief. It is a natural energy therapy that promotes holistic balance and healing, and can benefit the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Reiki works alongside other complementary therapies or medication/medical treatment.
Rei – universal
Ki – life force/energy (known as Chi in China or prana in India)
Although physically a very gentle treatment, the effects of reiki healing can be profound. We can experience reiki as being nurtured, and a feeling of being 'held' in a safe place. If we are at a cross roads in our lives, or need support with our healing and recovery reiki can help us to clear a path so we can see our next steps more clearly.
Your Usui reiki retreat includes:
comfortable full board, rustic farmhouse accommodation with delicious home grown, local and seasonal food made with love
guided meditation practice suitable for all levels of experience
time to explore the beautiful natural surroundings – with forest and lakeside walks straight from the front door
small groups to ensure dedicated and personalised time for everyone
reiki treatment and 1-1 consultation

Before co-founding De Tout Coeur Limousin in 2013 I worked in therapeutic group care with residents who had complex emotional and behavioural needs. During this time I supported my work with both my MA studies in Group and Intercultural Psychotherapy, and continued my learning and development in holistic health and therapies. I have been a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master-Teacher since 2010.
I have been trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and and can trace my initiation lineage as a master to the spiritual lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. Usui Shiki Ryoho can be translated as "the Usui System of Natural Healing."
During a reiki treatment I ask for the recovery and the healing of the recipient on all levels. It is not for me to diagnose or decide what is 'best' for you. Reiki will always go where it is most needed.
“A Reiki treatment supports the whole person — physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. When a Reiki practitioner places his/her hands on an area of their own or another person's clothed body, Reiki flows through the practitioner into the person receiving the treatment.”
As a reiki master practitioner I facilitate your holistic self healing by providing and holding the space and time for us to work together with the universal energy. It is in this dynamic interaction that we can be affected by, and benefit from reiki. Healing is a process, and a responsibility that cannot be given to someone else.
“...healing the spirit by consciously deciding to improve oneself is a necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for her or his healing and take an active part in it. Therefore, the Usui system of Reiki is more than the use of the Reiki energy. It must also include an active commitment to improve oneself in order for it to be a complete system.”
