We're so inspired to be working together with the fabulous Santé Yoga in 2 residential yoga and singing retreats and this yoga and singing retreat day at De Tout Coeur Limousin.
Nurturing your creativity, well being, mind, body and soul in the heart of beautiful rural Limousin. Working with the healing power of sound and movement. We can't wait to welcome you!
Hatha yoga uses movement and breath to bring balance to the body and mind. Using ancient Indian practices and modern science, we will create beautiful expressions which will complement the development of our physical and mental strength. Danielle honours the individual needs of each person and with gentle guidance will support you on your journey to expand and grow.
Using sound we will move mindfully through the chakra system (Energy centres in the body). Each centre has a seed sound which can support the balancing and healing of physical and emotional factors linked to this area.
Prana (Life force) Yama (Control) - this is the control of the breath. Using different techniques we will tune in with the movement of our breath and learn how to breathe again. When we use the full expansion of our lungs and stay focused on its path, we can energise, cleanse and balance the body and mind.
This is to bring your focus to one point. When we practice meditation without distraction, we are training the mind to stay present, this dissolves anxiety and worry.

As well as many years experience working as a professional singer and band front man Peter studied vocal coaching in London with the renowned singing teacher and authority on the voice Tona de Brett.

Before founding De Tout Coeur Limousin I worked in therapeutic group care with residents who had complex emotional and behavioural needs. During this time I supported my work with both my MA studies in Group and Intercultural Psychotherapy, and continued my learning and development in holistic health and therapies.
Music and singing have always been a major part of my life. I specialised in performance during my BMus playing the classical guitar and singing with the Goldsmiths Chorus, and worked as a professional musician in the UK.
In more recent years I sung with the Brighton Goes Gospel Performance Choir led by Karen Gibson (The Kingdom Choir).
In our work at De Tout Coeur Limousin it is a joy to be able to share the therapeutic aspects of sound and music with others. Seeing people grow in confidence and opening their hearts to their experience of creativity and expression.

Listen to some of our sing from the heart singers rehearsing Lokah Samastah. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a Sanskrit mantra which means:
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all."
